Freshman Logan Westgate of Portage, Michigan (Portage Central) recorded a runner-up, 5K time of 16 minutes, 19.98 seconds in a field of 58 runners at Broadway Acres Golf Course in Charlotte.
Sophomore Lincoln Bosh of Tacoma, Washington (Curtis) placed third at 16:21.48.
Junior Jack Leyden of Plymouth, Michigan (Salem) finished fourth at 16:22.45.
Freshman Keagan Smith of Zeeland, Michigan (Zeeland West) posted a fifth-place run of 16:23.94.
Freshman Lucas Gates of DeWitt, Michigan (Lansing Catholic) took sixth at 16:29.92.
