Hope College

Why Hope Hope College feels like a home away from home. I love the community as well as having the chance to play softball while getting a great education. I also chose Hope because of how welcoming the softball team was during my overnight visit and I couldn't wait to be a part of it!

Future plans After graduation, I plan on continuing my schooling at graduate school for physical therapy. I am unsure which direction of physical therapy I will specialize in, but I love what I am doing so far.

Favorite community service memory My favorite volunteer service is Miracle League. Helping disabled children play baseball and seeing their faces light up is the greatest gift and I look forward to it every year.

Pre-game music I love listening to classic rock before games, but I specifically listen to Thunderstruck by AC/DC before every game. The song gets me focused and ready for game time!

If you could do another sport Snowboarding! Speeding down slopes, jumping off ramps and doing tricks seems like it would be so much fun.

Best advice received Believe in yourself. This has been constant advice throughout my life from many people who are important to me. My family, coaches and teachers have pushed me to believe in what I can do and have helped me gain confidence to be who I am today.
