"Jenna Grasmeyer, a senior outside hitter at Division
III Hope College, led the Flying Dutch to their first national
title in volleyball and was named the championship’s Most
Outstanding Player. Grasmeyer recorded a match-high 22 kills during
a five-set win over No. 5 Emory (Georgia) in the final. She departs
as Hope’s all-time leader in kills and points, its first
three-time AVCA First Team All-American and its third four-time

"Bria Ebels, a senior guard at Hope College, scored a team-best 18
points and had six rebounds, four assists and four steals in a
69-56 win over Southern Maine that gave the Flying Dutch the NCAA
Division III championship. She led the team to a school-record 33
wins and was named the Final Four's Most Outstanding Player."

"Kelly Parker, a junior at Hope College in Holland, won the
Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's championship
in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke -- the same events her
father, Randy, won while competing for Albion (Mich.) College from

"Josh Boss, a junior at Hope College in Holland, Mich., was
named the Division III men's swimmer of the year after winning the
100- and 200-yard breaststroke at the division championships. He
set a division mark in the 200, breaking by 1.6 seconds his own

Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's MVP in her sport
after winning the MIAA singles title, pairing with Julie Murray to
