Tom Kort joined the Hope College Baseball coaching staff as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in June 2024.
Kort previously served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Calvin University (2021-23) and his alma mater, Olivet College (now The University of Olivet), for one season (2016). The native of New Hudson, Michigan, coached high school baseball at Byron Center for three season (2018-20).
Kort graduated from Olivet with a bachelor's degree in sports and recreation management.
At Olivet, Kort was a four-year starter and finished his career ranked fourth in career assists (303) and seventh in fielding chances (577).Â
