Why did you choose to attend Hope College? I loved the close-knit community Hope provides for students, the academics at Hope are highly respected and would push me to become a better student, and Hope has some many opportunities for students such as playing a sport or internships. I also love the Holland area as a whole. Growing up, I always wanted to live in a beach town.

What were your favorite subjects in high school? English and Sociology

Name a role model or models who have impacted your life? And describe how. My parents are amazing role models for me. They push me to be the best person I can be, and they always encourage me to set high goals for myself. Both of them want me to pursue my passions, and they help me do that.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Let all that you do, be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14 This verse is meaningful to me because it describes how I want to live my life. Every action should be out of love because that's how God views and treats everyone.

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? Banana with peanut butter.

What type of pregame music do you enjoy? Anything besides heavy metal.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Place more value on the person you are instead of the athlete on the field. Being an athlete is just one aspect of who you are, not your whole self.
