Why Hope The friendly atmosphere at Hope College is unlike any other college that I have visited. I love that people are so friendly, no matter where you are on campus.

Favorite Bible verse Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” This verse gives me comfort and support in knowing that God will always be there even when I'm worried about something or feeling down!

Favorite place on campus The rotunda in the Martha Miller Center. I like studying by the window so that I can people watch.

Pre-game music Anything that makes me want to get up and dance.

If you could do another sport Gymnastics! I love watching little gymnasts run around on the mats doing flips and backhand springs and leaps and I always wish that I could do that. They always look amazing and their routines are incredible!

Best advice received My dad always tells me that "It's all good." Even when you're in a situation and things seem to be going terribly and the world seems like its falling apart, eventually you will get through it. It's the struggles in life that teach you lessons and make you a better person. Before I left for college my dad told me that this would be one of the biggest changes that I would go through. However, he said that all of the changes would ultimately be good changes, hence, "it's all good."
