Hope College

Kristen Slotman '14 joined the Hope College women’s basketball coaching staff prior to the 2016-17 season as the junior varsity coach for her alma mater.

Slotman had been serving as the junior varsity girls basketball coach at Holland High School before returning to Hope. She teaches physics at Holland High School.

Slotman graduated from Hope with a degree in chemistry and a minor in physics. She was involved with the women’s basketball program at Hope for four years, including the final one as a student assistant coach.

Slotman received the Flying Dutch’s Barbara Ellen Geeting award twice for passion and commitment to the women’s basketball team.

Slotman lives in Holland.
