Why did you choose to attend Hope College? When I visited Hope, it felt different than all the other schools I visited - it felt like home.
List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you: Hebrews 12:1. I like this verse because it motivates me in my cross country/track races but also because life is kind of like a race so it encourages me to never give up.
What is your favorite pre-game music? I don't like to listen to music before I race.
If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be? Softball because I played when I was younger and I have always regretted quitting.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received? You can't live your life based on the approval of others.
