GET TO KNOW
Why did you choose to attend Hope College?
I loved the welcoming feeling I got as soon as I stepped on campus.

What is your favorite pregame meal or snack? And why? Clif kids chocolate chip z-bars- they are the best granola bars out there.

What is your favorite movie and why? Cheaper by the Dozen 2 because it is a classic.

List a favorite Bible verse and why it is meaningful to you. Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." One of my camp counselors showed me this verse a few years ago and it has always stuck with me.

What is your favorite pre-game music? Anything upbeat or throwbacks.

If you could play another sport, regardless of skill, what would it be and why? Gymnastics because I think the things they can do are incredible!

What is the best advice you’ve ever received? Create your own path. Sing your own songs. Tell your own stories.

Please list any service opportunities you plan to be engaged with this year: Both on campus and off campus. (i.e. Mortar Board, CASA, Dance Marathon, Boys & Girls Club). Relay for Life, Engedi Middle School Ministry Group Leader, Dance Marathon

If you have chosen a major, why did you? I have always enjoyed taking Spanish classes and love how much flexibility there is within the Business world.

Who is the best Hope College professor? This is an extremely difficult question to answer because there are so many amazing professors at Hope! One professor that really stands out to me is Professor Fila. He is so passionate and knowledgable and has so much wisdom to share with his students.

After I graduate I plan to… Find a job doing either event planning, marketing, or HR!

What gets you in the zone before a game? I love listening to the song Blessings by Lecrae, or any of our team playlist songs!

What is the best game you have been apart of? I think some of my favorite matches have been at Nationals, especially our match against Kenyon that we didn't end up winning but we really showed up to play and put up a fight.

Who is your athletic hero or inspiration? I have always looked up to Serena Williams because she is such a strong female athlete and specifically tennis player.

How does your sport bring you joy? I've been playing since I was about 3 years old and my whole family plays tennis, so it has always been really comforting to me and it makes me so happy to get to play with the people I love. I love getting to use my talents to try to glorify God through

What is an experience you have done off? I am a life group leader at Engedi Church for middle school girls, and this has been one of the coolest experiences for me to get to share the gospel and learn from some truly amazing middle schoolers once a week.

One life lesson I have learned from myself. Sometimes the mental side of things can be even harder than the physical. You need to be mentally prepared and trained as well as physically prepared.

Name a role model who has impacted your life. My grandma is truly my role model. She is the most genuine, kind-hearted, giving, and selfless person I have ever met. She babysat for me since before I can remember and she taught me how to spread love and kindness. She makes me want to be a better person each and every day by how bright of a light she shines.

List a favorite Bible verse and why. Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future". My camp counselor shared this verse with me years ago and it has always stuck with me.

The thing in my life I am most proud of. my family.
