Jeremy Gasper '00 returned to Hope College to join the Flying Dutchmen football coaching staff before the 2026 season as an outside linebackers coach.
Gasper, a three-time MIAA champion football student-athlete at Hope, brings to his alma mater 28 years of coaching experience, including four at the collegiate level and 24 at the high school level. He served as defensive coordinator at Grand Rapids Christian High School during the 2025 season, helping the Eagles reach the second round of the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 4 state playoffs and triple their win total from the previous season with six victories. He also was head coach at East Kentwood High School (2012-13) and Newaygo High School (2004-09). As a college coach, Gasper served as an assistant coach and recruiting assistant at Olivet College for four seasons (2001-04).
Gasper was also a three-time MIAA champion with the Flying Dutchmen baseball team, serving as a team captain on the baseball team during his senior season.
Gasper holds an Ed.S in educational leadership from the University of Michigan-Flint (2017), an M.S. in exercise science from the California Univerity of Pennsylvania (2007), and a B.A. in biology from Hope.
