Hope College

Alan Babbitt began working for Hope College in July 2013 as sports information director. He oversees publicity for Hope’s varsity and NCAA Division III athletic teams and the college's American Collegiate Hockey Association team. He manages the athletics website and social media accounts, while also handling outside media coverage of the Flying Dutch and Flying Dutchmen.

Alan is the primary contact for Baseball, Men's Basketball, Football, Men's Golf, Men's Lacrosse, Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving, Men's and Women's Track and Field, and ACHA Hockey. 

Alan is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He serves as a coordinator in CoSIDA's Academic All-America program and is a member of CoSIDA's Goodwill and Wellness committee. He votes in the national poll for d3football.com.

A native of Mason, Michigan, Alan holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Grand Valley State University.
