Number of wins for the Flying Dutchmen in 103 seasons. Their 424-340-68 overall record features a .566 win percentage. A 260-152-23 record in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play equals to wins 64.1 percent of the time at Hope.

Number of Hope coaches among the six in MIAA history who have won six or more league championships in America's oldest collegiate conference. Current head coach Dean Kreps has six in his tenure that began in 1995. He trails Ray Smith of Hope (nine between 1970-94), Pete Schmidt of Albion (nine between 1983-96); Frank "Muddy" Waters of former MIAA member Hillsdale College (six between 1954-60); Royal Campbell of Alma (six from 1921-35) and current Albion coach Craig Rundle of Albion (five between 1996-present).

Members of one family who made All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team Honors at Hope a tradition. In 2012, Joe Droppers became the fifth member of his family to achieve the honor when he was named to the All-MIAA first team. He joined his grandfather Don "Doc" Van Hoeven (1955), his father Kurt (1978), his brother Jacob (2006-07), and his brother Josh (2009-11) as first team all-league players. All of them have been offensive linemen.

Number of times Hope has played MIAA foe Kalamazoo College in the "Wooden Shoes Rivalry", one of the great league rivals theFlying Dutchmen have. Hope and Kalamazoo have been football rivals since 1910. The traveling trophy, a pair of hand-carved Dutch wooden shoes, has been part of the rivalry since 1931. For years the wooden shoes were viewed as unique among intercollegiate trophy games because when a tie occurred the head coach of each team could have one of the pair until the next year's game. That happened six times until the NCAA eliminated the tie game ending in 1996. The teams will be playing for the 92nd time in 2013 with Hope holding a 52-33-6 series advantage.

Number of career rushing yards for Hope running back Brandon Graham ('98). He holds the school record for career rushing yards and other single-season school records — rushing with 15,25 yards on 270 carries, rushing touchdowns with 21 in 1996 and scoring with 126 points in 1996. Graham also is second in school annals with 1,516 yards rushing and 20 rushing touchdowns in 1997. Graham is the MIAA record holder with a 193 yards rushing per game average in 1996.
