Hope Women's Soccer Settles For Scoreless Draw Vs. Trine

The Hope College women's soccer team dominated play, but settled for a scoreless draw with visiting Trine on Tuesday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.

The MIAA-leading Flying Dutch are now 10-3-1 on the season and 9-1-1 in league matches.

Hope is six points ahead of second-place Kalamazoo with five MIAA games remaining.

Against Trine, the Flying Dutch outshot their foe by a 26-0 margin, including 10 shots on goal.

Goalie Kat Dickson of Grayslake, Illinois (Grayslake Central HS) did not need to make a save against Trine (4-7-3, 2-6-3).

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, for homecoming. Kickoff is noon against Olivet at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
