Anna Lynch recorded a match-high 11 kills as the top-ranked Hope College volleyball team defeated Albion College in three sets on Homecoming Friday.
The 25-10, 25-11, 25-13 win at DeVos Fieldhouse improved the Flying Dutch to 24-0 overall and 12-0 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.
Lynch, a senior from Lake Odessa, Michigan (Lakewood HS), helped Hope hit .404 as a team.

Two players chipped in nine kills for the Flying Dutch: seniors Jenna Grasmeyer of Jenison, Michigan (Hudsonville Unity Christian HS), and Jillian Sommerville of Plymouth, Michigan (Salem HS).
Senior Amy VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS), added eight kills for Hope against Albion (4-21, 1-12 MIAA).
The Flying Dutch also received 37 assists from junior Lauren Hazekamp of Fruitport, Michigan (Fruitport HS), and 11 digs from junior Allie Mitchell of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Eastern HS).
Hope returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 18, with a 1 p.m. match at Trine.
