Hope College football player Cody Lindemulder has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week for games played on Nov. 15.

The senior linebacker from Mulliken, Michigan (Lake Odessa Lakewood HS), made 13 tackles, including three tackles for losses and a sack in Hope's 30-29 season-ending loss to Kalamazoo.

Lindemulder also intercepted a pass and forced a fumble.

Lindemulder is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time this season and the third time in his career.
