The second-ranked Hope College volleyball team swept Alma Friday to set up a rematch with top-ranked Calvin. This time a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament title will be at stake.
The two teams will meet at DeVos Fieldhouse at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8. The winner gets an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

"(Calvin is) going to be ready for us, and we are going to be ready for them. It is as simple as that," Hope coach Becky Schmidt said. "That is what we expect from Calvin and what they expect from us. We are going to have to bring it."
Hope defeated Alma 25-12, 25-9, 25-15 in Friday's second semifinal. Senior Jenna Grasmeyer of Jenison, Michigan (Hudsonville Unity Christian HS), totaled a match-high 15 kills on a .433 kill percentage to lead the Flying Dutch.
Hope is now 28-1 on the season.
Senior Anna Lynch of Lake Odessa, Michigan (Lakewood HS), chipped in seven kills, while Mitchell had 21 digs.
"We executed with much better control tonight. We have really been paying attention to detail and it is paying off," Schmidt said. "From a standpoint of controlling the tempo, I feel really good about where we are going."
Calvin (26-3) defeated Trine (24-6) in four sets — 25-23, 21-25, 25-22, 25-23.
Hope and Calvin split their regular-season meetings this season.
Hope beat Calvin 25-21, 25-22 25-22 on Sept. 20 at DeVos Fieldhouse. Calvin won 25-22, 25-17, 25-27, 25-23 on Oct. 22 on its court.
