Box Score 2 The Hope College men's tennis team lost its first two dual matches of the season on Saturday at DeWitt Tennis Center.
The Flying Dutchmen fell to Luther (Iowa) 8-1, then Ohio Northern 6-3 during the Hope College/Kalamazoo College Shootout.
Against Ohio Northern, junior Jonathan Panzer of Rockford (Rockford HS) delivered two points for Hope. He won his No. 3 doubles match with partner Sam Kreps 9-7 while also defeating Sam Prewitt at No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-1.
Freshman Camden Ludlow of Petoskey (Petoskey HS) got his first collegiate singles victory at Hope by defeating J.T. Rapaport at No. 6 singles by a score of 6-3, 6-4.

Against Luther, junior Trevor Brogan of East Lansing (East Lansing HS) claimed Hope's point by outlasting Isaiah Mayerchak 6-3, 2-6, 10-4 at No. 4 singles.
