The Hope College men's tennis team served up its first win of the season, sweeping St. Michael's (Vt.) 9-0 on Tuesday in Kissimmee, Fla.

The Flying Dutchmen received doubles and singles wins from four players: senior Parker Bussies of Zeeland (Zeeland West HS), senior Colin McKey of Stevensville (Lakeshore HS), junior Cody Herbruck of Grand Rapids (Forest Hills Central HS) and sophomore Chris Tippett of Flushing (Flint Powers Catholic HS).

Hope improved its record to 1-5 with the nonleague win.

The Flying Dutchmen return to action on Wednesday, March 19, when they play two matches. They face Grinnell (Iowa) at 8:30 a.m. and Hobart (N.Y.) at 6 p.m.
