Men's Tennis Opens MIAA Tournament at Home Against Albion

The Hope College men's tennis team is seeded third for this week's MIAA Tournament, presented by Collegiate Credit Union.

The Flying Dutch will open with a quarterfinal match at home against sixth-seeded Albion College on Monday, April 27, at 4 p.m. at the DeWitt Tennis Center.

The Hope-Albion winner advances to play in the semifinals on Wednesday, April 29, at 4 p.m. at second-seeded Calvin University.

The Flying Dutch (10-7 overall) has qualified for the MIAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive season. Hope lost to Kalamazoo College in the championship match.

Albion brings in an 8-8 overall record. The Britons have advanced to postseason play for the first time since 2014.

The Flying Dutch completed the regular season with a 7-0 victory against Albion on April 22.

Today's winner will be determined by which team reaches four points first. Doubles matches count for one point.
