The Hope College baseball team renews its rivalry with Calvin College this weekend, but at a different place.
The Flying Dutchmen and Knights are scheduled to have a four-game series at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, which features artificial turf.
First pitch for the doubleheader Friday, March 28, is 2 p.m., with Calvin serving as the host team. Saturday's twinbill starts at noon, with Hope as the host.
Coach Stu Fritz's Flying Dutchmen enter with a 4-7 overall record and a 1-1 mark in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play. Hope has played six one-run games, but won one of them.
Calvin is 7-4 overall and 2-1 in MIAA action.
Fans coming either Friday or Saturday are asked to park near the field at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, 3000 Leonard St. NE.
