Flying Dutchmen Defeat Wabash, Go 3-0 At MIAA-NCAC Challenge

The Hope College men's tennis team completed a perfect run through the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association-North Coast Athletic Conference Challenge by defeating host Wabash (Ind.) 6-3 on Saturday in Crawfordsville, Ind.

The Flying Dutchmen were the only team in the tournament to win all three of their matches.

Hope improved its overall record to 5-10.

The Flying Dutchmen received two points from senior Parker Bussies of Zeeland (Zeeland West).

Bussies rallied for a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles against Wabash's Wade Miller after teaming with freshman Sam Kreps of Holland (Holland HS) to defeat Wabash's Mark Troiano and Graham McMullen 8-5 at No. 2 doubles.
