Hope College's Parker Bussies has been named to the All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team Player for the 2014 season. 

The senior from Zeeland, Michigan (West HS), is one of six players to be chosen All-MIAA First Team on Friday by the league's coaches.

Bussies won the top singles flight at the MIAA Flighted Tournament this spring. He also played No. 1 singles during MIAA matches and helped the Flying Dutch finish second in the league standings and the league tournament.

Also on Friday, Hope lost at Kalamazoo 5-0 in the championship match of the MIAA Tournament.
