Three captains will lead the Hope College women's basketball team during the 2014-15 season: guard Brittany Berry, forward Rebekah Llorens and forward Maura McAfee.

Berry is a senior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Catholic Central HS). She is majoring in management and sociology.

Llorens is a senior from Grayslake, Illinois (Grayslake Central HS). She is majoring in history while minoring in music.

McAfee is a junior from Midland, Michigan (Midland HS). She is a biology major.

Hope coach Brian Morehouse said he is confident in the captains his team has chosen.

"Each is unique in their perspective and strengths," Morehouse said. "Their leadership, along with a strong group of leaders who are not captains, will enable our team to reach its potential. "

Hope tips off the 2014-15 season on Saturday, November 15, when it hosts Finlandia University at DeVos Fieldhouse.
