Cameron Dice joined the team goalscoring lead and powered the seventh-ranked Hope College men's soccer team to a 1-0 win against Adrian on Saturday.
The match was part of a Purple Games event for Van Andel Institute's cancer and Parkinson's disease research.
The Flying Dutchmen extended their win streak to six matches as they improved to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
Dice scored with 12 minutes, 17 seconds remaining in the first half. The senior from Allendale, Michigan (Hudsonville Unity Christian HS), converted, from 14 yards out, a cross from senior forward Brandon Underwood of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Eastern HS).

It was Dice's fifth goal of the season. He and sophomore Josh Hagene of Caledonia, Michigan (East Kentwood HS) lead the Flying Dutchmen in goalscoring.
Junior goalie Ethan Beswick of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven HS), made three saves for his second consecutive shutout and fourth of the season.
Hope returns to action on Tuesday, Sept. 23, when the Flying Dutchmen play at Calvin. Kickoff is 4:30 p.m.
