Hope (7-3 overall) remained atop the MIAA standings with a 6-1 league record. The Flying Dutch are five points ahead of second-place Kalamazoo (7-2-1, 4-2-1 MIAA).
Senior goalie Kat Dickson of Grayslake, Illinois (Grayslake Central HS), made three saves for Hope.
The Flying Dutch outshot Kalamazoo by a 17-7 margin, including eight shots on goal.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 4, at Calvin. Kickoff is noon.
