Hope Women's Basketball To Face Bethel (Minnesota) In NCAA Tournament

The Hope College women's basketball team is heading to Chicago to tip off the 2015 NCAA Division III Tournament.

Coach Brian Morehouse's Flying Dutch received one of 20 at-large berths to the 64-team tournament this afternoon.

Hope (23-4) will play Bethel, Minnesota (21-6), on Friday at Wheaton, Illinois, College at a time to be announced. Tipoff is 5 p.m. Central.

The winner of the Hope-Bethel game will face either Wheaton or Wisconsin Lutheran in the second round on Saturday at 7 p.m. Central.

Admission for each day is for $6 for adults, $3 for students, children and senior citizens, children two years old and younger will be admitted for free. 

As a NCAA Championship event, no free passes will be accepted. Tickets will be available at the gate one hour prior to the start of action each day and can also be purchased online at this link. Advance tickets for Saturday are also available online at this link.

This is Hope's 16th trip to the NCAA Tournament, third in a row and ninth in 10 seasons. The Flying Dutch won national championships in 2006 and 1990.

This is the first time Hope and Bethel have played each other.

Bethel also received an at-large bid after losing to unbeaten St. Thomas, Minnesota, in the championship game of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
