The Hope College men's tennis team lost at MIAA champion Kalamazoo 9-0 on Wednesday.

The Flying Dutchmen fell to 2-3 in MIAA play and 4-15 overall.

Seniors Cody Herbruck of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Central HS), and Matthew Culver of Clinton Township, Michigan (Fraser HS), lost 6-4, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 and 3 singles, respectively, for Hope.

Hope returns to action on Saturday when the Flying Dutchmen host Calvin for a 1 p.m. match.
