Hope College's Gunnar Elder has been chosen the MIAA Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played through April 26.

The sophomore from East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS), scored eight goals and assisted on four others in leading the Flying Dutchmen to a split of two MIAA contests for the week.

Elder had five goals and four assists in an 18-10 victory over Calvin, and added three goals in a 19-8 loss to Albion.

Elder is being honored as Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
