Hope College men's tennis player Cody Herbruck has been selected an All-MIAA First Team player and a co-recipient of the MIAA's Allen B. Stowe Sportsmanship Award.
The senior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Central HS), went 4-2 in MIAA singles and doubles play as the Flying Dutchmen's No. 1 singles player and No. 2 doubles player.
This is Herbruck's first All-MIAA recognition.
Herbruck is Hope's 22nd Stowe winner, given in honor of the late Dr. Allen B. Stowe of Kalamazoo College.
Senior Colin McKey of Stevensville, Michigan (Lakeshore HS), was chosen the Lawrence Green Scholar-Athlete Award winner. He played No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles for the Flying Dutchmen.
McKey is Hope's eighth Green winner, an award based on academic performance in memory of the late Lawrence "Doc" Green, physical educator, athletic trainer and coach at Hope College.
