The Flying Dutchmen enter today's game on a two-game win streak that's launched them into third place in the MIAA standings. Hope (3-3 overall) owns a 2-1 league record, while Trine (5-1) is 2-0 in MIAA games.

This is the 14th meeting between Hope and Trine. The Flying Dutchmen lead the series 8-5, but Trine won last year's meeting 31-28 in Angola, Indiana.

We are proud today at halftime to recognize our 11 All-Americans and five College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-Americans from the 2015-16 school year. The group includes All-Americans: Justin Freeman (outdoor track & field), Britni Gielow (golf), Dion Goliday (outdoor track & field), Lauren Hazekamp (volleyball), Erin Herrmann (cross country and outdoor track & field), Ryan Konkle (baseball), Boone Marois (outdoor track & field), Maura McAfee (basketball), Jane Pearson (outdoor track & field), Matt Pelyhes (outdoor track & field), and national champion Sarah Sheridan (diving). Hazekamp, Marois and McAfee were also Academic All-Americans along with Ben Gardner (basketball) and Jayne Kessel (volleyball).

Come visit the H-Club tent on the south side of Smith Stadium. H-Club membership is now open to all athletic alumni who completed one full season on an intercollegiate sport team at Hope College.  Members support Hope College through active interest and promotion of the athletic program as an important part of the educational process.

Hope College Mortar Board is conducting its annual Homecoming Book and Donation Drive through halftime of today's game. Donations will be given to Jefferson Elementary of Holland Public Schools.

Hope College welcomes the McBain High School marching band to today's game. Heather Wiggins is the band's director.

Hope's record in homecoming games is 51-31-3. The Flying Dutch lost last year's homecoming game to Alma 35-24.
