Pick an adjective. So many can describe Hope College running backs Brandan Campbell and Mike Miklusicak.
They're one-of-kind for sure.
The two juniors are the first teammates in the Flying Dutchmen's storied 107-year history to rush for more than 1,000 yards in the same season. They were integral in Hope's swift and record-setting turnaround to a 7-3 record this season from a 2-8 team in 2015.

"I was telling the guys, I really wanted to get 180-yards for him, I'm so happy that he was able to make it," senior center Michael Stephan told the Holland Sentinel. "Two (players) over 1,000-yards, that's insane."
Campbell and Miklusicak fueled the Flying Dutchmen's run to a school-record 2,738 yards this season. They easily surpassed the 1971 record of 2,433 with 507 carries — five fewer than the 1971 team's school-record attempts.
Campbell totaled 1,361 rushing yards on the season - the fourth-most by a Hope player in a single season. His 14 rushing touchdowns are tied for fourth-most all-time, equaling Dan Bloemers (2003) and Ron Bekius (1958).
Miklusicak ran for 1,077 yards and 10 touchdowns on 160 carries. He ranks 10th among the Flying Dutchmen's single-season rushers.
Miklusicak's 259 yards were the third-most in a single game by a Hope player. He's only surpassed by only Brandan Graham's 302 yards on 46 attempts against Kalamazoo in 1996 and 293 yards on 44 rushes against Olivet in 1995.
Campbell averaged 6.8 yards per carry this season — the second-highest average in Hope history. Miklusicak was third at 6.7 per carry.
Only Tom VanHeest fared better. He averaged 7.0 yards per carry en route to 800 yards and six touchdowns on 114 carries during the 1984 season.
"They would be the first to tell you, that's their offensive line," head coach Peter Stuursma said.
