Welcome to the Hope College Women's Basketball Tip-Off Tournament. This season's field includes the Carroll University Pioneers from Waukesha, Wisconsin, the Finlandia University Lions from Hancock, Michigan, and the Franklin College Grizzlies from Franklin, Indiana.
Tonight's games pair Carroll and Franklin against each other at 5:30 p.m. and Hope and Finlandia against each other at 7:30 p.m. Tonight's winners and losers will square off on Saturday at either 1 or 3 p.m. Hope will play in the 3 p.m. game no matter of Friday's outcome.

Saturday is Youth Day at DeVos Fieldhouse. After the Flying Dutch's game concludes, fans can get a free team poster on the court. Hope players and coaches will be signing autographs. A special thanks to Schreur Printing for its continued support of Hope Athletics.
The Flying Dutch entered the first week of the season ranked 10th in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and 13th in the D3Hoops.com preseason polls.
Hope is coming off a 99-97 overtime victory over nationally ranked Wheaton in Tuesday's season opener at DeVos Fieldhouse. The Flying Dutch overcame a 19-point first-half deficit, scoring the game-winning basket when junior Madison Geers drove the length of the court and made a layup with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime.
Sophomore Francesca Buchanan scored a career-high 27 points against Wheaton. She set a new DeVos Fieldhouse record with 12 made field goals in 22 attempts. Her 27 points equaled the third-most ever by a Flying Dutch player at DeVos Fieldhouse.

Hope's next game is Tuesday, Nov. 22 at home against Rochester College. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m.
The junior varsity women's basketball team makes its home debut that day with a 5:30 p.m. game against Grand Rapids Community College.
The Flying Dutch are playing over the Thanksgiving weekend this year. They have a nonleague game at Cornerstone University on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. in Grand Rapids.
The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opener is right around the corner for the Flying Dutch. Hope hosts Calvin on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at DeVos Fieldhouse. Tipoff is 7:30 p.m. for the varsity game and the 5:30 p.m. junior varsity game.
