The Hope College men's tennis teams took two doubles flights from regionally ranked Birmingham Southern during a 7-2 loss on Wednesday in Orlando, Florida.

The No. 2 pairing of freshmen Mark VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) and Christian Rhoades of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS) defeated Henry Crosby and David Goodloe 8-6.

The No. 3 team of junior Sam Kreps of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) and freshman Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton HS) beat Will Moore and Sebastian Schneider 8-2.

Hope (1-8) completes its spring break trip on Friday, March 25 against Whitworth, Washington.
