The Flying Dutchmen's closest match came at No. 2 doubles.
Freshmen Andrew Klein of Augusta, Michigan (Kalamazoo Christian HS) and Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores HS) lost a 9-8 (3) tiebreaker at No. 2 doubles to Robert Hudson and Eric De Witt.
Hope is tied for third place in the MIAA with a 2-1 league record.
The Flying Dutchmen (3-11 overall) return to action on Saturday, April 16 with a 1 p.m. match at Alma.
