Box Score Andrew Klein and Justin Folkert each won matches for the Hope College men's tennis team in a 7-2 loss to Wabash, Indiana on Saturday at DeWitt Tennis Center.
Klein, a freshman from Augusta, Michigan (Kalamazoo Christian HS), defeated Kirill Ivashchenko 6-3, 6-1.
Folkert, a freshman from Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton HS), top Mazin Hakim 7-6, 7-6.
The Flying Dutchmen fell to 2-10 on the season. Wabash (15-10) is ranked 12th in the Central Region.
Hope returns to action on Wednesday, April 13 at Calvin. Start time is 4 p.m.
