The Hope College men's soccer team put up more shots on goal, but dropped a 1-0 match at Albion on Wednesday.

The Flying Dutchmen put five shots on goal to their opponent's three during the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association match.

Albion (5-4, 4-1 MIAA) scored in the 15th minute off a rebound.

Goalie Blair McCormick of Wadsworth, Illinois (Warren Township) made four saves for the Flying Dutchmen (3-7, 1-4 MIAA).

Hope returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 1 with a 7 p.m. match at Kalamazoo.
