Mason Rosado Chosen MIAA Defensive Player Of Week In Football

Hope College's Mason Rosado has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Week in football for games on October 14.

The senior defensive back from Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) was honored for the first time after contributing to the Flying Dutchmen's 22-3 homecoming victory against Adrian College at Smith Stadium.

Rosado intercepted two passes and recorded six tackles for the Flying Dutchmen, who are now 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the MIAA standings.

Hope did not allow a point until the final play of the game.

The Flying Dutchmen limited Adrian to 67 yards rushing for the game.

The Bulldogs had rushed for 303 and 304 yards in their previous two games.
