Hilary Curry helped the Hope College women's soccer team finish the regular season on a winning note with a 1-0 Senior Day victory against Trine University on Monday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.

The junior from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville Calvin Christian HS) headed in the winning goal during the first half for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champions.

The Flying Dutch upped their record to 16-2-1 overall and 14-1-1 in MIAA play.

Hope matched its second-highest win total for an MIAA season.

The shutout in the regular-season finale was the Flying Dutch's 14th of the season and 12th in MIAA matches. Freshman Jordanne Ellingboe of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven) made one save.

Curry's goal was her fifth of the season. Junior Kristen Marsman of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) recorded her second assist of the season.

Hope now turns its attention to postseason play. The Flying Dutch host fourth-seeded Calvin College in a Thursday 7 p.m. semifinal at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.
