Hope College's Zach Telfor has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Football Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

The senior defensive end from Charlotte, Michigan (Charlotte HS) is recognized after his performance during a 48-10 win against Albion College in Saturday's regular-season finale at Smith Stadium.

Telfor sacked the Albion quarterback three times and shared the team lead with seven tackles.

Telfor now has been credited with 8 ½ sacks equaling his career high.

This is the second time Telfor has received the weekly MIAA recognition.
