Senior Sam Kreps of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) had a hand in both points for the Hope College men's tennis team in a 7-2 loss to Cornerstone University on Saturday at DeWitt Tennis Center.

In singles play, Kreps won his No. 6 flight 6-0, 6-0 against Cornerstone's Dan Ribbink.

Kreps also teamed with sophomore Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton HS) at No. 3 doubles for an 8-4 win against Ribbink and partner Grant Morton.

The Flying Dutchmen (0-3 overall) return to action on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they host Carthage, Wisconsin and Wabash, Indiana for nonleague matches.
