The Hope College women's lacrosse team swept Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association weekly honors for games played through February 26.

Alexandria Watts was selected MIAA Defensive Player of the Week, while Erin Caton was named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week.

Watts, pictured at right, made nine saves in goal with a 75.0 percent save percentage in a 22-3 win at Cleary last week. The senior from Union, Michigan (Edwardsburg HS) went 8-of-9 on clears during the season-opening victory.

Caton, pictured at left, netted four goals and two assists against Cleary, including three goals in the first period. The junior from Rochester Hills, Michigan (Pontiac Notre Dame Prep) scored on all four shots she took.
