The Hope College women's basketball team is bidding for its fourth trip to the national semifinals this weekend in Ada, Ohio.
The Flying Dutch (24-4) tip off their sectional final against Christopher Newport, Virginia (27-2) today at 5:30 p.m. at Ohio Northern University. The winner advances to Saturday's 8 p.m. sectional final to face either Ohio Northern (29-0) or SUNY-Geneseo (28-1).
This is the first all-time meeting between Hope and Christopher Newport.

Francesca Buchanan's 406 points are the ninth- most in a single season by a Flying Dutch player. She needs six points to pass Maura McAfee's 2013-14 season for eighth place.

Angelique Gaddy's 111 assists this season are tied for the seventh-most in a single season by a Flying Dutch player. She has equaled Brittany Berry's total from 2014-15. Ahead of her are in fifth at Julie Henderson with 119 in 2006-07, and in sixth Philana Greene with 118 in 2009-10.
