Hope College's Sam Kreps has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played March 13-19.

The senior from Holland, Michigan (Holland HS) won both singles and doubles matches during the Flying Dutchmen's 7-2 win against Edgewood, Wisconsin on Saturday in Orlando, Florida.

At No. 5 singles, Kreps defeated Brandon Glock 6-0, 6-3.

At No. 3 doubles, Kreps teamed with sophomore Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton) for an 8-3 victory against Glock and Andrew Martinez.

This is the first time Kreps has received the weekly MIAA award.
