Men's Tennis Tops Hamline For Second Consecutive Victory

The Hope College men's tennis team picked up its second consecutive win with a 5-4 decision against Hamline, Minnesota on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida.

The Flying Dutchmen took the top three singles flights, along with No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, at the United States Tennis Association National Center at Lake Nona.

Sophomores Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores HS) and Mark VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa) earned two points apiece for Hope.

Kiley, pictured, and VanderStoep teamed together for a victory at No. 1 doubles.

Kiley won at No. 1 singles, while VanderStoep took his match at No. 3 singles.

Hope (3-6 overall) plays its next match on Thursday, March 23 against Babson at the USTA National Center.
