Baseball's Home Opener Vs. Alma Moved Up To Today

The Hope College baseball team will play its home and Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association openers on Friday, March 24 against Alma College.

First pitch at Boeve Stadium for the doubleheader is 2 p.m.

The games were moved up from their original scheduled date of Monday, March 27 because of the weather forecasted for that day.

Hope is off to a 7-3 start to the season, while Alma is 2-10 overall.

The two teams met six times last season, with each team winning three times. The Flying Dutchmen won their two meetings in the MIAA Tournament
