Abbey Przekop scored twice as the Hope College women's soccer team rolled past Lake Forest, Illinois, 9-0 on Saturday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Flying Dutch improved to 2-0 overall after coming within two goals of the single-game school record.
Hope had eight different goalscorers, including senior forward Allie Wittenbach of Ada, Michigan (Forest Hills Central), who also chipped in two assists.
Junior forward Grace Bubin of Rockford, Michigan (Rockford) and freshman midfielder Audrey White of Hudsonville, Michigan (Hudsonville) recorded one goal and one assist apiece for the Flying Dutch.
Others scoring for Hope were: junior defender Anna Bremer of Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids), junior forward Erin Brophy of West Lafayette, Indiana (West Lafayette), junior midfielder Rylie Dalton of Rockford, Michigan (Rockford), and freshman Hannah Landstrom of North Muskegon, Michigan (North Muskegon).
Przekop, a sophomore forward from Novi, Michigan (Mercy), now has three goals in first two games with the Flying Dutch. She is pictured at right.
Freshman midfielder Maria Egloff of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Loy Norrix) added an assist for Hope.
The Flying Dutch scored seven times during the second half.
