The 21st-ranked Hope College volleyball team served up a 3-0 win against Olivet College on Friday in the 2017 home opener at DeVos Fieldhouse.

The Flying Dutch won 25-14, 25-12, 25-17 behind a balanced attack that included a match-high 11 kills from junior Katie Rietberg of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa).

Hope improved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play.

Twelve different Flying Dutch players totaled at least one kill.

Senior Haley Muller of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian) chipped in eight kills.

Senior Sophie Hackett of Indianapolis, Indiana (Brebeuf Jesuit) collected 19 assists. Freshman Adair Cutler of East Lansing, Michigan (Lansing Christian) had 10 assists.

The Flying Dutch finished with a .326 attack percentage.

Sophomore Jenna VanderLaan of Grand Rapids, Michigan (South Christian) led Hope with 10 digs.
