ALL-TIME SERIES

Calvin leads the all-time series 71-49, but the Flying Dutch are 3-15 against Calvin since 2000. Hope's Brian Morehouse is 36-22 all-time against the Knights, while Calvin's Chuck Winkelman is 1-4 against the Flying Dutch.

SEASON SERIES

The Flying Dutch swept Calvin during the regular season — winning 77-72 at DeVos Fieldhouse on January 10 and 70-69 at Calvin on February 7. On February 7, down 69-68 to the Knights with 1.4 seconds to go, Arika Tolbert lofted the ball inbounds to junior center Francesca Buchanan who had positioned herself near the low post.  The rainbow pass fell neatly into Buchanan's up-stretched hands and the junior center turned and will-powered her way to the basket, sinking a contested layup.

MIAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY

Hope and Calvin have 16 times in the MIAA Tournament — with each team claiming eight victories. The Knights have won the past two meetings — 67-65 in the 2017 semifinals at Trine and 77-73 in the 2015 title game at Calvin.
