Baseball Places Second In 2018 MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll

The Hope College baseball finished second in the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Flying Dutchmen received one first-place vote and recorded a score of 14 points for second place.

Hope is coming off a 24-18 season in 2017 in which the Flying Dutchmen finished third in the MIAA standings and qualified for the league tournament.

The Flying Dutchmen are led by Stu Fritz, who's in his 25th season as head coach.

Hope's season opener is March 10 vs. Hanover, Indiana in Grand Park, Indiana.
