Box Score The Hope College men's tennis took two doubles flights during a 6-3 loss to Babson (Massachusetts) on Wednesday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
At No. 2 doubles, junior Mark VanderStoep of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa) and sophomore Danny Kroeze teamed for an 8-2 victory against Chris Kolesnik and Andre Libnic.
At No. 3 doubles, freshman Carter Smiley of Minnetonka, Minnesota (Minnetonka) and junior Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton) recorded an 8-6 victory against Dan Levitan and Dylan Pace.
Hope's other point came from No. 4 singles, where junior Timothy Roe of Bakersfield, California (Frontier) defeated Kolesnik 6-0, 6-1.
The Flying Dutchmen are now 2-6 on the season.
